In this interview we discover the power of language and multilingualism through the interview of Marah Haj Hussein, writer and director of the theatre pièce “Language: no broblem”, presented at Santarcangelo Festival 2025. Through the tools of dance, body and words, the author talks about human relations, hope and language as an instrument of communication and violence too, underlining an existential dichotomy.
Marah Haj Hussein is a performative artist from Kofor Yassir, in the occupied Palestine. She lives in Antwerp, where she obtained a Bachelor of Dance from the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp in 2021 and a Master of Drama from KASK in Ghent in 2023.
